Meet the President
A native of Havana/Tallahassee, Florida, Tony relocated to Raleigh, NC, in August 2005. After a sustained career in insurance sales, underwriting, and investigation. Tony left corporate America and embraced entrepreneurial endeavors as an insurance broker and founded, Diversified Benefits Administrators in October 2006. Following his heart and passion for equal rights, the recognition and growth of people of color, their challenges, and drawing on his own experiences as a black business owner, Tony joined and became actively involved in the Wendell-Wake County Branch of the NAACP in October 2018. |
His insight and leadership abilities were evident and recognized by the organization, which facilitated his appointment to branch Secretary in June 2019. As Secretary, Tony served as a delegate of the Raleigh HKonJ rally, a branch delegate of the NC state and national annual conventions, and served on the branch's freedom fund banquet's planning committee.
